NATURE'S FINEST

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Days 1-3 - Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Arrive by light aircraft from Lusaka and cast off your worldly cares at this seven room tented camp. With the likes of elephant, buffalo, lion and wild dog you're sure to enjoy the twice daily game drives but the real attraction here is to head out into the bush on a guided walking safari.

Days 4-6 - Chiawa Camp, Lower Zambezi National Park
Drink in more of the Zambian countryside as you fly on to the Lower Zambezi National Park and to a camp renowned for its magnificent game viewing and nine stylish, luxurious tents. River safaris and canoeing are just two of the activities that complement traditional day and night game drives.

Days 7-9 - Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma, Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park
Drinking sundowners overlooking the fabled Zambezi River, listening to the sounds of the bush as night begins to fall; simply the perfect ending to another day in Africa. This intimate lodge perched in giant ebony trees is ideally situated within striking distance of the majestic Victoria Falls and offers a selection of adrenalin-charged and more serene ways in which to appreciate the splendour of the Falls. Of course there are game drives too, as well as opportunities to fish the Zambezi.

Day 10
Departure via Livingstone Airport to your onward destination.

From £5,855 per person

Walking Safaris
The South Luangwa region of Zambia is renowned as the best destination in Africa for walking safaris and even seasoned safari-goers will find a new perspective on an old love by exploring the bush on foot.

Victoria Falls
'The Smoke that Thunders' - never was such an evocative name so apt as the translation of the local name, Mosi-Oa-Tunya, for what the western world knows as Victoria Falls. Columns of spray ascending from the near two kilometre wide cliff-edge can be seen from several miles away when the Falls are at their heaviest, the sheer drop transforming the wide, placid Zambezi River into a ferocious torrent, cutting its way through jagged gorges. Simply spectacular!

The Royal Livingstone
Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, Royal Livingstone offers an exceptional experience for the discerning traveller. The hotel captures the charm of bygone Africa and situated next to The Victoria Falls World Heritage site, gives guests direct and unlimited access to the Falls. The perfect add-on for a few days after a South African holiday, or choose to stay here at the end of our suggested Zambia itinerary as an alternative to Sussi & Chuma.
